SA Dundee Group building a Business-recreational center in Sarajevo: New work and recreational contents

Firm SA Dundee Group is building a Business-recreational center in Sarajevo’s settlement Pofalići and for realization of that project, a support from the strategic partner, is currently missing. The center is going to be built next to Mall "Interex", sprawling over the area of 58 thousand square meters, and to citizens it will offer numerous contents for work, recreation and amusement.

The idea came from a firm in Bumtir - GP "Butmir", and the total value of that project is 30 million euros. Visitors will enjoy a skating arena, swimming pool, bowling alley, fitness center, sauna, indoor playground. The twin building will have 18 floors with business offices.
"Our goal is to offer better and more relaxed surroundings for every day business activities. We were granted the city’s agreement, and the project idea and terrain is in our possession", Mirza Muharemagić , the manager of SA Dundee Group says for eKapija.
According to the main idea SA Dundee Group would invest 7,5 million euros, while the partner – on whom all the investments currently depend - would invest 22,5 million euros.
"Two years ago we would have been ready to take a loan on the project, we had creditworthiness with a bank, but arrival of a economic crisis turned the construction in a risky venture”, Muharemagić told us.

That project was also presented to the Sarajevo Business Forum, but the representatives of SA Dundee Group claim that investors are more interested to projects in a domain of the power sector, highway and railroad, for which they have guarantee from the state.
SA Dundee Group, was founded in 1990, and debuted with only two stores. In the beginning the firm was focused only on providing restaurant services, when in the year 2000 enlarged its scope of services to retail sale, wholesale, production and tourism.

Sa Dundee Group units consist of: structures selling “Bagatela” textile products, retail sail food stores, restaurant points (a restaurant, fast-food, canteen), a tourist agency "Dundee TOURS" Sarajevo, an agency for insurance mediation, Beauty salon and a Gift Shop.
They hire 230 employees with annual income in the amount of 5 million euros.
