Una National Park - top priority to Bihac Municipality

Development of entrepreneurship in the Una National Park is one of the priority projects of the Bihac Municipality, confirmed to our portal Amarildo Mulić, Chief Adviser at the municipality of Bihac.
"The project is an affirmation of entrepreneurship within the National Park of Una," said Mulić.
“The project area covers 19.800 acres. Given that the upstream of the Una river is declared a National park known for its beauty and natural resources unique in the world, it offers great possibilities for development of entrepreneurship within the area of national park through tourism development (design, construction and management, tourist resorts and facilities), the tourist business (village tourism, souvenirs, other tourist ventures), the development of sports tourism (water sports, walking, hiking, biking, etc.), agricultural development, "explains Mulić.
The project encompasses the upstream of the Una, than canyon of the river Unac starting from its delta to the Una and going all the way to Drvarsko field. Also the area between the Una and Unac.
Implementation of the project can be through a direct investment of a business company, Public - Private Partnership (PPP), mixed enterprises and other forms of partnership.
Mulić says that it is necessary to create a project that would be in accordance with the development guidelines of the National Park, applied to encourage sustainable development, evaluation of natural resources, opportunities to the local people - primarily through tourism, agriculture and healthy food.
