Prime Minister of Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Nazif Uruci met on August, 8 with the UNDP Resident Representative Yuri Afanasiev and associates. The meeting was attended by Minister for Education Science, Culture and Sport of the BPC, Alma Delizaimović and representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Mirsad Hubanić and Emir Hodovic.

The meeting was organized to consider the transfer of ownership regarding the equipment in the Center for Vocational Training which is owned by the Japanese Embassy, over to the Bosnia - Podrinje Canton , accompanied by the implementation of technical and industrial training to support national employment programs of Goražde region.

UNDP representatives also announced moving into the implementation of a new program that will included five regions, among others, the region of eastern Bosnia. This program aims at improving local governance, economic development, employment, social care and speeds up shutting down of collective centers.
