Official confirmation came from Guinness: Radio Station Kameleon and Tuzla city for the second time entered the Guinness Book of Records.
At the Colosseum , on May 7 Tuzla became the heart of
Europe: 1510 registered dancing couples broke the Guinness record for
the most massive Viennese waltz.
Zlatko Berbić , who came up with the waltz idea, emphasized
that this is certainly the most beautiful story told this year.
Bosanski charm and a European promotion are the the images that circle the globe these days. This is our PR showing that Bosnian people are true Europeans. Bosnia has shown to the world that it is not a negative, gloomy- looking country as media usually portray it. That is what Bosnia is all about! Proud and standing up!
No
politician or ambassador could have done for the country what Radio station Kameleon did that day.
In breaking the Guinness World of Records, honorary
partner was the Austrian Embassy together with the Austrian Ambassador
to BiH dr.Donatus Koeckom who also danced that night.
" European
culture and especially Viennese waltz and music are things that
connect the world. This project has created an entirely different
picture of Bosnia and Herzegovina, "said Koeck.
The project of breaking the Guinness Record for most massive Viennese waltz
, was the idea for which Radio Station Kameleon received recognition of the
European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the best European
project of the year. The European Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina was one
of the honorary partners of the project.
On the organization, 250 people worked hard. Great support to the project was STAGE
ART from Bihac, then Mirnovec from Citluk. Guests were arriving from all
parts of BiH, Pale, Banja Luka, Zenica, Mostar ...
Unfortunately, the
largest national providers such as the Telecom, this time as well, missed a window for promotion of their own image.
