B & H will be hosting next year's gathering of the world investment managers, analysts and financial journalists at the "IFTA 2011" organized by the IFTA (International Federation of Technical Analysts).

Polimac Irfan, President of the Society for Market Research in Sarajevo hosting the event, says that this will be the first such event in Eastern Europe since the transition to the market economy.

Polimac points out that the exact date of the IFTA 2011 will be determined along the way.

He believes the gathering of world financial managers at Sarajevo will bring participants in capital markets, mutual funds, broker dealers, stock exchanges, banks and small investors closer to international practices, specifically to the analysis of financial markets.

According to him, it is important that the gathering is taking place in a small country in transition, due to a comparative approach to the analysis of financial markets and their position in the global network of financial regulators.
