Fuad Klisura, CEO of Institute of Engineering Economic: A good laugh is priceless

Life motto of Fuad Klisura is hard work and discipline, although he likes to have a good laugh with his friends.
Leisure time he spends with friends or a good CD, he especially likes sevdalinka song. His favorite musicians would be : Safet Isovic, Halid Beslic, Hari Varesanovis, Dino Merlin and as he likes to call her ‘our music queen’ Hanka Paldum, but also a musician and singer Zeljko Joksimovic.
He is happily married with his wife Enisa, has two sons Ilhan and Ammar, and for himself he likes to say that he is a real Aries in the horoscope. He was born on March 29, in Polje next to Travnik.
What makes him happy are bridges, as they are closely related with his firs working experience in Metalno Zenica Company, and ever since then he is a real fan of bridges.
“Bridges are a link between not only people, but ideas, which makes me as an active participant in their construction, particularly proud ”, he says.
First work experience
Klisura starts his career in 1965 at Zenica’s Metalno doo where he works as a freelance technology officer, developing project documentation, monitoring production and delivery, warehouse movements, blasting, cutting, welding, workshops, assembly of steel structures, storage and transportation of finished products.
During that period, he actively participated in the construction such as bridges Jasen in Dreznica, Bunur in Mostar and many others ... For a brief period of time he was a teacher in Technical High-school of Zepce for the subjects Processing by cutting and CNC machines.
After the Metalno Company he works as a facility manager that includes responsibility for organization and execution of a series of monumental tasks such as pipeline at the hydro power plant Osanica-Gorazde, assembly of steel structures at the sports hall ZETRA Sarajevo, (destroyed in the war events), steel silos of the Klas Company Sarajevo, the storage tanks Podlugovi for INA BH, the bridge on the river Fojnica near Kiseljak, Gunja-Brcko bridge on the Sava river, the bridge Raca on Sava, bridges Kamenica and Rajseva.
Later on, he continues as an executive director of a Car Dealership of Travnik, which at the time is an authorized dealer and service provider for Skoda cars. He also works as a manager for technical inspection of motor vehicles, automobile repair shop ...
By the end of 2007, he becomes director of the company "Institut za privredni inženjering" (Institute of Economic Engineering Ltd. ) Zenica, which at the time, received authorization from the Federal Government for professional supervision over the centers for technical inspection of vehicles.
Projects he is proud of
He emphasizes the fact that the IEE Institute, local firm for IT engineering ANET and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications by February 2008, had all the centers for technical inspection in a computer database linked directly to the server in Zenica, and that in time.
"With the approval of the Federal Government, May 1, 2009 we've implemented a unique project - surveillance system of technical inspection at the territory of Federation, "says Klisura.
What is impressive about that fact is , as he says, that Bosnia was the first to introduce that type of system, followed by Croatia, then Serbia, Montenegro.. In January, 2010 his team with the ANET, implements the same system in the Brcko District.
He participated in making of several expert books, has published several scientific works regarding traffic safety in B-H.
First to introduce ISO standard
He says he is in particular proud of participation and team work at the Zenica IEE Institute and Zenica company for IT engineering – ANET, which were certified for the ATEST information system, developed according to ISO 27001:2005 standard.
"According to official information, that August 2009, we entered the narrow club of few companies that had the standard implemented (at the time there was only 3,000 certified companies worldwide ), which broader public needs to know ", he says with an apparent pride in his words.
No less important is the work on preparation and drafting of the project of IS systems for the process of BH Vehicle Type Approval. The IEE Institute contributed on a larger scale as a full member of the appointed Board. The whole thing needs to be completed by December 4, 2010, under the bilateral agreement between the Ministry of Transport and Communications and all four members of the Board.

I do like to travel, and my favorite trips are the ones I took with my family.
What is that you hate the most?
Fraud, especially when it comes to cosigners. I would severely punish all the CEOs and banks that rob workers off their money, when a company takes out a loan with a bank’s consent, and latter on lets the workers pay off the loan..
