September 8, 2010 - The Sarajevo Stock Exchange supports the idea of Banja Luka Stock Exchange on the establishment of money markets in BiH, which would start off as treasury bill issuing, report agencies.

Let’s remind ourselves that the initiative for establishment of the money market in the Federation has been sent to the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Association of Bosnian Banks, based on the premise of money markets as crucial to the development of financial markets in Bosnia and Herzegovina, even more so for the calculating of the interest rates that are basic indicating factor for issuing securities of companies.

Said initiative suggests organizing a round table to discuss all aspects of establishing the market of short-term securities in the Federation, and the influence it would had on the state level.
